Initial situation:
Patient complains since a sports injury of pain on the outside of the left knee and the left ankle.
Examination:
The examination did not find ligament instability, but instead significant tenderness in the tendon and ligament attachments on the outside of the left knee and ankle.
Therapy:
Manual mobilization and manipulation of the sacroiliac joints with manual stretching of the upper and lower muscles of the left leg. Prescription of an auxiliary, self-treatment gymnastics program according to the DKB system (Stretch, Strengthen, Move)
Results:
The patient could move without pain immediately after treatment and after a few days, was completely free of pain.
The treatment was supported by application of the green connective tissue gel to the painful locations, extensive use of the blue joint gel in the knee and ankle areas and the wearing of shoe insoles.
