The orthopedic surgeon Dr Edward Lanz was born on 10.12.1950. He is in private practice and also the medical director of the Institute for Movement Therapy. As a member of the Sports Committee of the Medical Council, he was responsible for the training and education of Sports Physicians. He trained as a specialist in orthopedics and orthopedic Surgery at the Stolzalpe regional hospital, and further in the internal department of the Voitsberg regional hospital, in the neurological-psychiatric department of the of the Barmherzigen Brüder (“merciful brothers”) in Graz-Eggenberg , the accident and emergency hospital in Graz and the 3rd Surgical Department of the Graz regional hospital.
